CBA-DFID Project Development Fund (UK)

The Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA), which promotes the concept of public service broadcasting and fosters freedom of expression and the right to communicate within the Commonwealth has announced that it is seeking applications through the CBA-DFID Project Development Fund. The objectives of the CBA-DFID Project Development Fund are to promote better understanding of the developing world and to improve the quality and quantity of viable programme proposals in this area of output. The fund is open to established UK based programme makers and proposals can be of any genre. Grants are intended to help cover the costs of research, pilot filming and the procurement of filming rights. The maximum grant available is £10,000 (maximum 80% of development budget). 

The closing date for applications is the 17th October 2010.
